Establishing and upholding general infection control guidelines within an endoscopy centre are critical for creating a first-rate setting for patients and personnel. To avoid cross-infection of the equipment and ensure a safe and clean environment for performing quality endoscopy, the deployment and discarding of disposable equipment such as biopsy forceps and polypectomy snares, etc., are handled with extreme care.
Effective infection control is also dependent upon an architectural layout of the endoscopy centre that facilitates sanitation and workflow from room to room. Our centres are designed with this crucial aspect in mind so that infection control issues can be adequately and efficiently addressed.
In addition, our centres employ Olympus Automated Endoscope Reprocessors to ensure quality proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of our endoscopes and other related medical apparatus.
Our staff all follow stringent infection control practices to make sure their personal hygiene and their protective equipment are in proper order prior to any procedures.
